Production is underway for the Topps HOBOWL II Football card set. Each HOBOWL player will be portrayed in card reminiscent of an old time Topps football card. Plans are for a set of 24-27 cards. Upon completion, the cards will be made available to all players and possibly put up for sale in the HOBO store.

We're starting it off with revealing the card for HOBOWL II MVP, Luke Peterson. You can take a look at all of the cards as they are being finished by visiting the Flickr Group which has been set up.

Gentlemen, this is what we play for...the Coleman Jug. It currently resides in the recroom of South side MVP Showstoppa. I'm thinking maybe some HOBOWL t-shirts for the winning team. While the jug is a great trophy it could be another good promotional idea and also a nice prize for the winner.

While it may be impossible, I think it would be a good idea to get commitments from who is going to be in town for the game. I know Show had a post about this a while back...but I'll try again. I encourage anyone who can attend to confirm on the HOBOWL page. It would be cool to do a draft with the people for sure there, we could always add the game-day-drop-ins to teams to make it fair. It seems like tackle (snow being the only condition) is the way the voting went. I look forward to seeing eveyone there.

Join up to the official HOBO NFL Pick'em Group. All you have to do is pick the winners of the NFL Games each week. Your worst week will be dropped from the final points, just in case someone forgets a week. It's easy and it's fun. HOBOs like fun.

There's no reason you shouldn't join. Dwight even joined. That's good enough reason for you to join. I'll even award the winner an Old Style at the VFW. Tell your friends to join too. Especially if they know of HOBO. Tell your parents. You can even tell your grandparents. Let's get a whole bunch of people in the HOBO group.
