I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend. Now, that it's the dreaded Monday after, we're back to the grind, and finally getting over our hangovers, I thought I'd chime in with a little update on some of the 4th of July.
As you probably know, I made a surprise appearance for the HOBO Induction. Thanks to a kind co-worker, I as able to get my shift covered. I decided to make a JJ-esque appearance and stop the show decked out in my seersucker apparel. Because of my short 4th of July, I won't be able to recap the whole depth of 4th of July activities. I will leave that to everyone else. Please chime in on your experiences and give us recaps of each of the events. I'm sure there are some HOBOs and FOHs out there who couldn't make it and are eager to hear some firsthand reports.

I have posted the extent of my pictures up on Flickr. Not bad for being in Bessemer for about 31 hours. Please post all of your pictures up as well. I expect all HOBOs and FOHs to post any of their pictures into up as soon as possible.
Also, you may notice on the left hand side of the page that the countdown has already started to the 5th Annual Mustache Contest. Who is going to start growing theirs first?
HOBOnanza 2008 is almost upon us and there is still some things that need to be completed. I was hoping that someone would like to take a shot at developing a printable schedule of events. G-Mac has already posted the days and times of each event. We just need somebody to add some color and a few unflattering pictures of some hobos.

So if you would like to help a brother out, post a comment. It needs to be completed in the next 10 days or so. Then hopefully someone, possibly Tommy Joe, can print off a bunch of them and we can post them around town. It's gonna be a big year since we have more days of activities then ever before.
We also need to get a t-shirt graphic completed. But only a person with extensive showstopping abilities could develop something like that. So if you're out there Show, give me a call. I have some ideas I'd like to discuss with you.
