I just wanted to say that we should shorten the length of time that you can adopt a hobo or at least allow multiple people to adopt us. we could raise more $ that way, i think. what do you all think??

I fully agree Mikey. Multiple adoptions should be allowed. I mean, I am not offended if no one adopts me yet Gregas gets adopted 10 times. I say, the more the merrier. That just means more killer Gregas high fives.

I disagree completely, I think that when someone adopts a HOBO they should feel like they got something for their purchase. Something that no one else can get, at least for the one year period or whatever. It would suck for the people who already adopted a HOBO and were under the impression that they were the only ones who could get that particular HOBO. Now take that away from them? I think that would reflect on us in a bad light.

Do you really think that there are ton of people out there that would donate to our cause, but won't now because there are four HOBOs taken already? Is there some sort of line that I am unaware, of people itching to adopt Jizzy? The adoption page has been up for a week and four HOBOs are already taken, I'd say thats pretty good. There are 10 HOBOs left, if someone is willing to support HOBO they could adopt someone else, buy a shirt, or even donate the money.

And really, it's not about the money anyway. We're not just trying to beg money off of people, we're letting them adopt a HOBO for their very own. Let's not be pulled into the trap of trying to raise money selfishly. I think it would be a big mistake to allow multiple adoptions.

When I set it up I was considering both avenues. I discussed it with Gregas and we came to the conclusion that only allowing one person to adopt each HOBO was the best route. Although, I'm sure there were people lining up to adopt Jizzy, only Amanda gets him now. You have to act fast to get the HOBO you want. Like Gregas said, it's not about making money. It's just about something fun and funny and maybe we can help pay for a little of the the expenses.

I must say that I am honored to have been adopted. I will use my entire repertoire of high fives. Up high, down low, to the side. I won't pull the too slow though, as that is just lame.

The Top Gun double may be too complicated to do though. It took me and Gregas months to perfect that.

i want to agree with gregas that this is not all about raising money. I was thinking more along the lines of giving more people the privlage of adopting us. Sorry if it seemed like it was all about the money. Not the case.

The Top Gun high five does add a degree of difficulty, but only ones that have mastered it can actually do it, like Gregas and EJP. Now EJ, will you do the "Slider Pose" after the high five? If you do, that is like icing on the cake.

Chris Ormes is the most charasmatic and marketable HOBO in the organization.

It's an absolute crime that he's yet to be adopted. Maybe Madonna will stumble across the Hobo website and adopted him.

adopt a hobo? well that's interesting. why do you call it adopt a hobo if you can't bring one home with you?
