The mustache contest is just over month away. I hope everyone is growing their mustaches well. The 'V' is looking forward to seeing a large group of HOBOs sporting mustaches. Word is, the 'V' may advertise the contest up on their sign.
Now, place your bets... The bookies got back to me and here are the early Vegas Odds.
His Super Power is everything, so you know he's going to have a good mustache. He comes out as the early favorite.

Defending champion still ranked high, even though chances are he won't be able to attend to defend the title.

He surprisingly had a mustache last year, but he probably wont' be able to make the contest.
We all know Ruppe will shave the day of the contest just to spite everyone... I guess we do need an emcee though

Right now, I like the odds Show. I had Giles winning it last year with GMac second and myself third. Unless pictures are posted of the Hobos progress, its hard to judge. I like the Layup Assassin's chances, strictly because he is a courts legend, but GMac always comes through. Vatto is a contender because of the color of the stache. Brady is VERY clutch. If he grows his stache like he chugs, hes the winner hands down. But, how can you got wrong with Giles? Tough call. I will bet the house on Fitting.

Bet the "Trifecta Key" with Giles(2:1) to "Win", and Bibbles(5:1) and Shankbone(3:1) to "Place" and "Show" in any order.
These guys are clearly favorites. Get a bigger payday by parlaying your wagers instead of betting on these guys straight up.

This guy comes packing heat every year. At 18:1!?!? You CANNOT go wrong by putting a wager on him to "Show"
Other good value picks:
Vatto at 8:1
Trone at 15:1
These guys are gamers. Vatto's odds get hurt by military regulations, but he has a dark black Brasco? Nuff said.
Trone was a dark horse last year, but he proved his chops. He came out of nowhere and brought an entourage of votes with him.
Either of these guys are good bets to "Show"
The Longshot:
Cozzi at 50:1
I get it. He probably won't show. But this is the long shot pick. IF he does show, he is guaranteed to be in the winner's circle. There is only one color of mustache that trumps dark black and that is Mr. Rooney Red.
Stay away from:
G-Mac at 3:1
Show at 5:1
Peach at 10:1
These guys are all overvalued. G-Mac surprised everyone for the past two years. But even with a strong showing last year, he still dropped in the ranks. I expect another drop.
Show grows a solid Sgt. Slaughter. But for him to be ranked among such other mustache heavyweights as JJ, Giant, and Brownie? I feel like I can get better value for my 5:1 bet.
Peach's "El Guapo" mustache has yet to achieve a single vote. I'm willing to bet that drought continues.
Who I'm betting on:
BP6000 at 5:1 to "Win"
I know that he hasn't made a big splash in past contests, but I think this is his year. Gregas and Giles have proven that the blond mustache CAN compete with the big dogs. I also have information that he has committed himself this year and is following a rigorous mustache regimen. Also...... CLEARLY he has genetics on his side.
