Glad to see the site back up and running! All I know is that I will be a little late for the mustache contest, but I will be there. Get some.

Apparently, NO ONE likes Bibbles after bar! T.O. had better vote for this since he gets to use his role in HOBO. Do not let anyone from 1993 win a poker run.

Damn Show!!! You nailed it again! As far as I'm concerned, you can design all my t-shirts. Hell, half of my collection are Showstoppa originals already...

Really excellent job, brother.

Looks good to me, Gmac. I'm not going to be there till the Chicken Wing B-fast, but hopefully Brownie will save me some treats from the Gathering.

As far as names go, I vote for HOBO Hobnob '09. It's got a nice ring to it. And I say we have two female captain this year. Possibly ReRe and Shanimal.

In closing, my favorite event, as always, is the Drink with Dwight. Chicken Wing B-fast is a close 2nd.

Hashbrown, ya heard!

I must alert everyone to a change in the description for "The Gathering." No need to bring grillable foodz. Side stuff like chips, bean salads, potato salad, etc. will suffice. Rich and Ann are providing the big stuff.

indeed, this schedule

indeed, this schedule already has my heart thumping in anticipation! the only two things i can think of are:

1- a name for this year's celebration. for those new to HOBO, celebratory titles of years past include HOBO Hullabaloo (2007) and HOBOnanza (2008). SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!!!

2- this year's team captains need to be established.

Looking good G-Mac.

Looking good G-Mac. Thursday and Friday should be our biggest days. If people are going to take off a couple days and not the whole week it will be those. That is my plan, as of now. The only thing I can see that may need a little tweaking is the HOBOpen and HOBOlympics. It may be hard to finish 9 holes and make it back in time to start the HOBOlympics by noon.

My name is Dustin and I'm an internet addict.

All of the above for me. I always have a Facebook and Google Reader tab open and now I always have my Twitter client open too. Plus, I have about 6 other tabs open for stuff I plan on reading later. I've cut back on my Digg addiction, but tend to take a hit every few days. Oh yeah, and then when I'm not by my computer I check it all on my iPhone. Julie loves when we're out somewhere and I do that.

Is there some kind of rehab we can go to for this?

I'm the exact same way with Google Reader. I check my RSS feeds in the morning and find myself coming back all day long. I know that I've already read all the articles on Digg, there are no new posts on hoboswalk.com, and I've already seen the deal of the day from Woot, but I keep checking back to see if something has popped up that will keep me entertained for the next 45 seconds.

Kinda has the same appeal as facebook except with Google Reader I don't have to look at pictures of foolish self. I prefer it that way...

All of you who didn't come,

All of you who didn't come, really missed out. The Gregas/Re abode was welcoming, wonderful, and way wicked. A good time was had by all, whether that include cake fights, beer pong, turkey eating, yard games, or mowing the lawn in the dark. So on behalf of my HOBO brethren and sistren.. I would like to say thank you for a wonderful weekend that giggled about today in school in my head. You guys always throw a wonderful time. I love you!!
